Color Effects with the Hand Cards
No need to haul out the drumcarder, students in this class students will use their hand cards to prepare wool rolags that spin yarns reminiscent of hand-painted Japanese yarns.

FiberFest 2006
- These are a couple of pictures of my demo and the students in the Spinning A to Z class. This is a great class for the beginner, as it offers everything you need to know to go home and spin. We learned basic spinning and drafting with roving; discussed washing wool (not the right venue for washing a woolie), carded and combed wool for woolen, worsted and color effects; plying and finishing your yarns. At the end, for the students that wanted to give it a try, we spun silk from roving
